Allied advance from Paris to the RhineSiegfried Line campaign – The name "Allied advance from Paris to the Rhine" doesn't consistently show up in reliable sources, neither in books nor on websites. "Siegfried Line campaign", on the other hand, instantly appears in search results, being the title of some relevant books, such as the one by Charles B. MacDonald or another by Steven Zaloga, suggesting this is the WP:COMMONNAME. Brandmeistertalk 19:22, 23 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support This is the common name for the campaign from September to December 1944, whereas "Allied advance from Paris to the Rhine" is just a Wikipedia construct. I have one caveat though: in order for the scope of the article to match that of the campaign, we should delete the short sections on "Veritable and Grenade", "Winter counter-offensives", "Germany west of the Rhine" and "Aftermath". They are all adequately covered in other articles anyway. (Bizarrely, the navbox is already aligned with the campaign) Hawkeye7 (discuss) 23:26, 23 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support Agree with the above - not really seen any titles/chapters in any peer reviewed source or even online with that heading. As Gog the Mild has said, the article will need to have sections removed in order to reflect the timeline up till the Battle of the Bulge. Eastfarthingan (talk) 13:28, 26 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
