Nationality
[edit]MB, in your edit summary you state, rmv redundant per WP:INFONAT. Nationality can be inferred from county of birth. British India to Dominion of India is not a nationality change as if someone moved to a different county and became a citizen there. This is not critical info for the infobox.
However, his nationality is notable to the infobox since he was born in Peshawar, which is in present-day Pakistan, not present-day India. KyloRen3 (talk) 06:32, 8 July 2021 (UTC)
- KyloRen3, It seems you are expecting readers to know Peshawar is in present-day Pakistan (which you can't tell by just looking at this infobox) and then need to be told they are not Pakistani. I would advocate adding
|nationality=Pakistani
in an an infobox where someone was born in an area of British India that became Pakistan (and was a citizen there). In a case where someone was born in an area of British India that became India (and was a citizen there), then nationality should not be mentioned because it just bloats the infobox. This case is neither of those - and any discussion of this is missing from the article. The article says he was born in Peshawar, and schooled in a boarding school in Maharashtra. So how did he become Indian? I guess he just stayed there after finishing school. MB 01:33, 9 July 2021 (UTC)- MB, that would just be inaccurate. He was an Indian citizen who was born in a part of British India which became Pakistan, read this obituary for reference. Partition allowed people to choose which country they wanted to be a citizen of, his family decided to stay in India and that was enough to make him a citizen. There are many other people like him, including one former Prime Minister. The infobox should probably specify his nationality as Indian due to his birthpace being outside present day India. - Agreed with Tayi. KyloRen3 (talk) 04:09, 9 July 2021 (UTC)

Filmography
[edit]The article lacks a comprehensive filmography of Dilip Kumar films. At the occasion of his passing, this lack of filmography should be tackled at least with his notable films. werldwayd (talk) 03:18, 11 July 2021 (UTC)
- There is a separate article for the same, Dilip Kumar filmography, which has been mentioned using {{further}} in Dilip Kumar § Career. Kylo Ren III (talk ☎️) 05:18, 11 July 2021 (UTC)

Dear I want to register an Edit Request in this Article, as there is a lot of misinformation about Dilip Kumar e.g. his belongingness and the cast he belongs to. Even his and his father's original names are entered wrong.
