Extra Information Needed
[edit]More Information - sorry new to this so don't know if I'm doing it properly or not. I have a tiny bit of more information about comedy programmes on Play UK. The programme entitled Mark and Lard's Pop Upstairs Downstairs was actually called Mark and Lard's Having a Pop. Writers included Mark Coley, Pat Gallagher and Dave Roarke. I think Pat Gallagher also directed but not sure. Katcocat (talk) 12:08, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
I have marked this article (Play UK) as a stub as I feel more information is needed. Mainly in these areas:
- More music programming - I think there was more music programming. But those are the only ones that I can remember.
- More comedy programming - There are more comedy programs that were broadcasted on UK Play/Play UK but I cannot remember them right now and there were certainly more originally produced programming then the two I have mentioned. :| (Added two more, but I think there were a few more --Kiri* 12:59, 30 Apr 2005 (UTC))
- Actual launch date of Play UK (as Play UK).
- The date when UK Play rebranded as Play UK.
A few things that need to be nitpicked:
- The sentence in the article "The channel is aimed at playing (for most of the time) music in the morning and afternoon while broadcasting comedy in the evening.": Would you feel it needs to be slightly (or completely) reworded (I was never brilliant at English ;)?
- The heading called Play UK Closure: Should it really have a heading of it's own or would it be better to be appeneded to the first paragraph in the article?
- Have I spelt everything correctly? I hope I have! ;)
- Should UK Play have a redirect to this article? (Redirect added. --Kiri* 12:59, 30 Apr 2005 (UTC))
That's all I can think of what else is needed in this article at the moment. --Kiri* 20:49, 16 Apr 2005 (UTC)
deletion/redirection
[edit]There are identical pages for both uk play and play uk, one needs to be redirected to the other.88.108.25.21 20:15, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Fshnm.gif
[edit]Image:Fshnm.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion.
