[edit]While Chris Adams may have used "The Iron Claw" a time or two to aggravate the Von Erich family, his finishing move was always "The Superkick". 216.138.59.228 (talk · contributions) 17 April 2005
Regarding the Iron Claw, I don't recall Chris ever using it, but I do remember him talking about a time when the heels were trying to come up with a claw of their own to aggravate the Von Erichs. Chris is the originator of the Superkick, and these changes were corrected a while back. RobDon33
If anybody out there in England has any information on Chris' career in Judo, please pass that info along. Thanks.
At the age of 12, I worked as a ring attendent for a UWF match in East Liverpool, OH. Some of the top stars of recent years such as Cactus Jack, Terry Taylor, Eddie Gilbert, Iceman King Parsons, Sting, and Troy Orndorff (AKA Shane Douglas) competed, but my fondest memory of that night was meeting Chris Adams in the locker room. He was so nice to me and seemed very fatherly, when the other wrestlers seemed to have egos and didn't want me around them. I didn't realize he died and I'm saddened to hear that. I hope his legacy will live on and others will treat their fans as Gentlemanly as "Gentleman" Chris Adams.
wife?
[edit]The article states "His final marriage occurred six weeks prior to his death to Karen" Who is Karen? That is the first mention of her in the article. Sephiroth storm (talk) 05:15, 18 August 2010 (UTC)

Ballistic trauma?
[edit]Seriously? Is there any reason except snootiness that "gun shot" wouldn't be a better way to word his COD?22:27, 16 June 2017 (UTC)22:27, 16 June 2017 (UTC)22:27, 16 June 2017 (UTC)73.18.173.40 (talk)
