JA
[edit]Hi. I've found a message on Japanese Wikipedia's corresponding article. Did someone need any particular help? Or was that more of a general invitation?
Anyway, I have read the article and think that it looks okay. I am not sure if toilet is that notable. But other facts seem right.
If anything, I wondered whether it is too obvious to mention that the rice burger uses steamed (and then baked) rice as buns. Tomos 19:28, 14 Jan 2005 (UTC)
-- Thanks for responding to my request. Consider that an invitation. Just want to get some opinions from people. As for the rice burger, I thought that is something quite special which you don't generally see it in other restaurants. Or maybe we can put more details about the rice burger into the hamburger article. --G.S.K.Lee 04:47, 15 Jan 2005 (UTC)
-- Wrote up the Mos Rice Burger. It could probably use a bit more. And someone with better Japanese might want to check mine. 61.46.86.217 10:34, 6 August 2005 (UTC)
Merge
[edit]I've suggested that MOS Rice Burger be merged into the MOS Burger page. -- Mikeblas 16:43, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed. --Kerowyn 06:53, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
- As it's been over a month since this was suggested and there were no signs of opposition, and since all the information in MOS Rice Burger was already in this article, I turned MOS Rice Burger into a redirect. Seqsea (talk) 04:57, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for doing the merge, Seqsea. I've not been good at keeping notes and completely forgot about it. -- Mikeblas
Corporate Info
[edit]I've added some corporate info, including an infobox. MOS Burger doesn't seem to be doing too well, losing 9 billion yen last year. Meanwhile, after adding the corporate info, I'm wondering if there should be a seperate corporate page (for "MOS Food Services") or if everything is fine living together at MOS Burger. -- Mikeblas 16:45, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
Someone please make the corporate info make sense. We have "The company had 1327 stores in 2005," and "Employees 461 (March, 2005)" ... Either some very interesting things happened back in 2005, or they're doing something awesome that would revolutionize store-management. I don't do Japanese, and I've been trying to find the info, but I'm apparently being retarded today, because I can't find the number of employees. 83.249.236.210 20:54, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
- I guess this would be the number of the workers of the actual mother company, not counting the outlet workers, either because of them being part-time, the shops being separate corporate entities or the like. Nowadays Japanese wiki claims some 350 employees, which probably is related to the fact that MOS isn't doing so hot apparently. --60.239.250.214 (talk) 15:43, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

Mountain, Ocean, Sun
[edit]I thought that "Mountain, Ocean, Sun" was added decades after the founding of the company, as a form of re-branding. I'd like to know the true origins of the name "Mos". Bubbha (talk) 07:41, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

MOS Sauce
[edit]There should probably be some sort of information of what's on the standard MOS Burger. Besides the onions, the sauce has mayo and what I assume is miso, but other than that I don't know... --59.129.221.98 (talk) 08:22, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to 2 external links on MOS Burger. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
- Attempted to fix sourcing for //www.mos.co.jp/company/outline/line_e.html
- Attempted to fix sourcing for http://www.mos.co.jp/company/outline/img/img_map.gif
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}
).
